Chemical and Petrochemical Industry

The waste destination—final disposal or recovery—is evaluated and determined based on the nature of the waste and its relative classification analysis or, if sufficient, the material safety data sheet provided by the manufacturer.

The recovery of precious metals from industrial waste is a strategic solution to valorize waste materials, reintroducing them into production cycles, thereby reducing the environmental impact of activities and developing sustainable production models based on the circular economy.

Numerous industrial processes generate residues containing high-value metals, including gold (Au), silver (Ag), platinum (Pt), palladium (Pd), and rhodium (Rh).

We are interested in evaluating the following materials in order to formulate a potential economic offer:

  • Industrial catalysts on activated carbon support containing precious metals (nickel, palladium);

  • Industrial catalysts on inert material support containing transition metals;

  • Laboratory Reagents

Industrial Catalyst Recovery

The recovery of industrial catalysts is a key process for the sustainable management of materials used in production processes in many industries. Spent catalysts from chemical, petrochemical, energy and pharmaceutical industries often contain precious and transition metals, which can be recovered and enhanced.

The valorization of spent industrial catalysts is therefore a concrete solution for companies that want to improve the sustainability of their production processes and optimize the management of raw materials, making an important contribution to the urban mining philosophy.

We valorize industrial catalysts on ceramic or activated carbon material support containing precious and transition metals from the following chemical and petrochemical processes: hydrogenation/ dehydrogenation, steam/hydrocarbon reforming, sulfide removal, methanation, hydrodesulfurization, formaldehyde production, hydrogenation fatty-ole-acids,co conversion, hydrodenitrification, oxygen removal, flue gas purification-denox.

Catalysts are present in the form of spheres, pellets, briquettes, powders, sludges and contain significant percentages of the following metal oxides:

1

Nickel

(NiO – NiMo – NiTi – Raney Nickel – NiCu – NiWMo);

2

Molybdenum

(Mo Fe – MoCo – MoCu);

3

Vanadium

(Vo -VniMo);

4

Cobalt

(CoO – CoMn);

5

Copper

(CuZn – CuCr);

6

Zinc

(ZnO);

7

Titanium

(TiO);

8

Tungsten

(Wni – WniMo – Wti);

9

Iron

(Feo)
